UCCF 9/29/16: Scotch Plains House Purchased – Again

2016-754: Authorizing the County Manager to take all actions necessary and execute any and all documents necessary to complete the acquisition of approximately 1.3 acres of land located at 1580 Cooper Road, Scotch Plains, New Jersey, and identified as Block 12201, Lot 2 for use as parkland, in the amount of $395,000.00 plus closing costs approximately in the amount of $10,000.00, for a total amount not to exceed $405,000. This acquisition is through and for the Open Space, Recreation and Historic Preservation Trust Fund.
 Deja vu?

Among the purchases in a 2014 $38,793,236 Bond Ordinance was:

scotch plains house
Questions asked then:

and at the next freeholder meeting:

Subsequently we had a Notice of Settlement filed on January 12, 2015 so presumably the county bought the house from Robert B. Davie with the bond money.

But land records show that there was another Notice of Real Estate Settlement with the same purchaser and the same seller on August 29, 2016.

So what’s the story?

Then what was the 2014 bond money spent on?

The video blast from the past-They were idiots back in 2014 when they bonded this property in the Open space trust fund when the fund receives $9 mill annually in tax contributions. Freeholder Hudak utterly lost when it comes to finances and taxes.

This double dip is strange indeed. -the only conjecture I could come up with in our Soprano county corrupted system is maybe the ex-owner Davies is related to senator lesniak, and allegedly was promised a little extra money later when no one was looking-well, the watchdogs are proven vigilant. Thanks JB1.

Freeholder Hudak, dipping over there at Kean College is a no-knowing just like his father, another pension padder, John Hudak. What does CC do about it? Nominates John Hudak for a judgeship. SPIT.
