I wonder if there is a concerted effort by the department heads to question charges from vendors or from services rendered. Are they looking out for the tax payers to get a better bang for their buck?

wtf is “cam social services” being paid out from Union County taxpayers to the Union County Improvement Authority?
Also, is the Mayor of Linden, Derek Armstead. going to command a $140,000 full time salary soon for his part-time mayoral Linden duties and as a former Union County employee? If so, why the County “let” him go?
No real reporters at the Star Ledger/nj.com so we will never know. Plus Armstead is a black democrat …. more reason not to cover the REAL story.
