For years Union County commissioners received annual salaries of $29,500 with the Chair of the Board getting an extra $2,000 and the Vice Chair an extra $1,000.
In 2015 raise ordinances started including commissioner salaries and these fixes have become a seasonal event. At yesterday’s virtual meeting, at a time of private sector layoffs and furloughs and a lot less ceremonial work for commissioners to do, we got:

He was fired from UCIA and UCUA. Apparently wasn’t doing a good job. Maybe they should check the finance ledgers.

Still listed on the UCUA website as Executive Director:

though 2021 info is not out yet.
UCIA also changed some positions as of 11/4/20 including eliminating the Deputy Executive Director position which I believe was Linda Stender. Is she out too?

Keep your eyes on the finance director who is running the county. 60k raise that isn’t listed in that salary ordinance to run the IA. It’s buried in a Shared Service Agreement from 2019. The commissioners also approved hundreds of thousand to her husbands law firm.
Freeholders needed a raise so Hudak could pay for his new million dollar home.
