2 resos that had interesting answers were: #386-It turns out the “Educational Services Commission” is a purchasing coop of the state and the county is buying road maintenance equipment thru them for the county, very strange, but that is what they said. (link-https://www.escnj.us/domain/316). I have a feeling that, these coops such as the Educationa Services Commision” gets some kind of vig off of purchasing thru them…..and #397 which is the county spending of $1.9 mill for rentals of golf carts from EZ-GO for just 4 eyars. Per Sanchez, the golf department head (with a patronage job-UCWA separate story from years ago), in 4 years these carts will make $3.2 million in revenue, (or by my calcs, nets out to $300,000/year, or around $1000/golf cart profit per year.) But we don’t own any of them Sounds doable?
