The Jersey Off Road Bicycle Association (JORBA) has a facebook page where on March 4 this comment was posted:
Attention Union County / Watchung Reservation folks: Union County is hosting a meeting this coming Tuesday to share information about the mountain bike trails which are currently under construction in Watchung Reservation.
All signs point to the possibility of the very vocal minority of folks who oppose our efforts attending the meeting and continuing their campaign of misinformation, anti-bike rhetoric and NIMBYism. JORBA encourages stakeholders in the Union County area, from all areas of people powered trail recreation, to attend, listen and respectfully voice their concern.
Meeting info: Tuesday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Trailside Nature & Science Center. Trailside is located in the Watchung Reservation at 452 New Providence Road, Mountainside.
