Recent deaths of note:
Horace R. Corbin: Owner of Westfield Leader and The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Times from 1996 until March 5, 2020. Met him once around 2008 regarding a county election and he was very gracious and under his watch the county got covered.
Frank W. Krause: Never met him but, along with his wife Barbara Krause, seemed to be a positive presence around Cranford.

Both were large in our Union County, will them. Barbara Kraus is a spitfire in Cranford, just like her husband, Frank.
