Fighting to the Death for Florio, Et Alia

Apparently the federal government wants to put strings on payments under the Cares Act to states and counties and Governor Murphy takes exception:

Union County at this hour is spending the first of that Cares Act money.

On whom?

According to their meeting agenda:

2020-355: Authorizing the County Manager to enter into a contract with Florio, Perrucci, Steinhardt, Capelli, Tipton & Taylor, LLC, of Rochelle Park, NJ, as Special Counsel to the County to provide services related to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES ACT”) in the amount not to exceed $15,000.

A connected law firm with some past issues is first in line. Do you know of anyone who might be more in need of that money? Possibly to keep from dying?

Why do people even bother with this county stuff? Union County has become Hudson County. It’s a Dem county as the demographics have gone thru a tsunami of change. They are going to do whatever it is they want to do because they can!!

County manager noted that this can be increased as demand further appears. Union county looks like it will use the stimulus money to make Florio Petrucci whole if they loose that malpractice suit. NJ taxpayers apparently still footing incompetence and corruption again, what else is new. We are idiots.
